The T. Y. Foundation, a Society that has started in the name of Shri Byabang Taka and Smti. Byabang Yossum (the Parents of the Founder Chairperson); the guiding and inspiring individuals in doing yeomen work without expecting anything in return, inspired the Founder members of the society to do good for the fellow Human without self-interest or personal benefit. The T. Y. Foundation believes the Soul of every society lies with its YOUTH (Young Generation) who will take forward the Culture, traditions and good deeds of their Past Generation, however, the dark side of MODERNIZATION is killing today’s youth through easy access to Pornography, Immoral, Antisocial activities, leading them towards different kind of abuses viz. Drug Abuse, Alcoholism, Depression, Societal rejections and above all HOPELESSNESS.
Thus, the Foundation desires to work from the very root cause i.e., the ‘Hopelessness’ by providing them HOPE and means to sustain their lives without being completely depending on others by providing them basic training in Handicraft, Stitching and other skilled training. And bring them towards the path of Holistic life as well. Further, helping drug addicts and people trapped in other nature of addictions, by providing free counselling’s, facilitating to attend Rehabs to help them get out of the addictions etc.
